London Gatwick Airport is in Crawley, about 28 miles south of London. The easiest way to get there is on the M23, leave at Junction 9, before following signs for Gatwick Airport. London Gatwick has good shopping at both the north and south terminals. You can pick up pretty much anything you need for your holiday while you are waiting for your flight at London Gatwick Airport shops such as Hargreaves Sports, La Senza, and Vittorio, as well as the usual large Duty Free emporium. There are two terminals at London Gatwick Airport that deal with international and domestic flights. The most important tenant of the North Terminal is British Airways, and other carriers that operate there include Emirates, American Airlines, Etihad Airways, and SN Brussels. The more modern South Terminal building is home to a number of predominantly charter airlines alongside Virgin Atlantic, US Airways, and EasyJet. |
