There are 3 terminal buildings at Manchester International Airport that are used by many charter and international airlines. The busiest are Terminals 1 and 2, from which most international traffic leaves the airport. The majority of flights from terminal 3 are operated by British Airways on both domestic and International routings. Manchester Airport offers many good quality shopping opportunities both before and after security, so the chances are, if you’ve forgotten to pack something, you should be able to find it before you fly. Shops at Manchester Airport include Cotton Traders, Times 2 Watches, and World Duty Free, which offers a great selection of perfumes, spirits and cheap cigarettes. The fastest way of getting to Manchester is on the M56, leaving at Junction 5. Manchester Airport is about10 miles to the south of Manchester, close to Sale, and well signposted. |
