It is located around 6 miles from the city centre with regular bus and coach services connecting the two. The airport is close to the M1 motorway north of the city, and accessible via the junction with the N1 road. There is a dedicated “set down” area just outside the terminal building, along with a short stay car park for longer goodbyes. The 3 Long Stay car parks at Dublin Airport are all connected by bus with the departure area, and these are colour coded in red, green and blue for ease of use. The car parks offer space for more than 14,000 cars, but you should still book in advance of busy periods to guarantee availability. Dublin Airport car parks offer an extra special service by which you can have your car professionally valeted while you are away on holiday, and return to find it sparkling.
