London Heathrow is Britain’s largest and busiest airport, serving in excess of 60 million passengers each year. The airport has 4 terminal buildings, and a fifth is being built. British Airways call Heathrow their home, and until their new terminal 5 opens, they operate flights from terminals 1, 3 and 4. Other carriers that you can fly with from Heathrow include South African Airways and Aer Lingus from Terminal 1; Lufthansa and Air France, from Terminal 2; Terminal 3 is used by Emirates along with Air Canada, Thai Airways; while KLM and Qantas are the best known airlines operating services from Terminal 4. London Heathrow Airport is 15 miles west of London in Hayes. To get there, take Junction 4 off the M4.
