LOCATION: Set in the heart of the Hawke's Bay 'Wine Country' and now surrounded by working orchards, the Lodge nestles in twenty acres of manicured gardens. Within Hawke's Bay there is an abundance of activities such as the Art Deco Walk, the Gannet Colony at Cape Kidnappers and many fine wineries. The Bay offers excellent fly fishing, hunting and trekking. Within a short drive of the Lodge there are five challenging golf courses. Mangapapa Lodge is situated between the two cities of Napier and Hastings. Just 5 minutes from Hastings city and 15 minutes from Napier.

HOTEL FACILITIES: Dining at Mangapapa is an experience in a league of its own..... the menu changes daily to incorporate seasonal influences and its focus is based on the "complete dining experience" for which Mangapapa Lodge is famous. Guests are welcomed for pre-dinner drinks and canapés from 7pm. At their own leisure are taken to their individual candle lit table. The whole Mangapapa experience can be as full or relaxing as guests wish, from soaking up the sunny Hawkes Bay sunrays around the heated swimming pool or enjoying tailor made rejuvenation packages. Professional beauty therapists are available for consultations in the spa and sauna complex or at the beauty therapy clinic and French perfumery. GUEST ROOMS AND AMENITIES: The 12 en suite guest rooms are the last word in understated luxury. Their under floor heating and air conditioning soothe weather extremes and each is individually decorated and furnished with white damask bed linen and soft colours. CHILD POLICY: Rates shown are valid for one child under the age of 12 years when sharing a room with parents and utilizing existing bedding (without extra bed).
