British Airways Business Class Service From London City

A new business class only service is set to be unveiled by British Airways, providing flights to New York from London City Airport.

With a launch date understood to be around 12 months away this new British Airways service will be the first long haul option provided via London City, with the obvious target market being the corporate organisations based arounf the Canary Wharf area where the airport is located.

Two flights per day are set to be offered, with just 32 seats, fully reclinable, on a specially designed A318 Airbus. At the moment the arrival airport has not been decided, though both JFK and Newark are about the same travelling time to Manhattan.
