There is entertainment in abundance in Amsterdam and nightlife is no exception: Bars with life music and sport on television; trendy nightclubs; as well as large casinos. There are several excellent theatres and concert halls. Amsterdam is also famous for the red-light district, which is a great place to wander in the evening, even if you don't take up any offers.
