The nightlife in Los Angeles is truly exceptional, with so many wannabes coming into the city; there is always plenty of live music on display, some of it good! There are also a plethora of bars and nightclubs that cater to every possible taste.
Without a doubt, Sunset Boulevard is the best place to go out in Los Angeles, and has several excellent nightspots and bars. Most famous is the Viper Room owned by Johnny Depp, which is a favourite hang out for the terminally hip, while the Bar Marmont at the Chateau Marmont hotel is a cosy place with a bohemian feel.
For a unique night out, head to the Queen Mary in Long Beach, where the refurbished Art Deco Observation Bar is a great place for a sundowner.
