The Maldives is not a destination that lends itself well to a holiday hopping from bar to bar until staggering out of a nightclub in the wee small hours of the afternoon, and if that's what you want, then it's best to look elsewhere. That's not to say of course that the Maldives is a destination that offers nothing in the way of nightlife, most of the hotels have their own late opening bars and clubs where you can enjoy sophisticated company and relax as the sun goes down over the Indian Ocean with a few drinks.
