Less than 10 miles to the northeast of the city centre, you can climb the 590m tall hill Lohrberg, which offers the chance to get some fresh air and a break from the bustle of the city, and once at the top rewards you with stunning vistas over the city skyline, and the peaceful Rhine Main region. On the way up the hill you walk through the only vineyards in the city, and you can enjoy a glass or two of beer in the bar at the top. Evenings are a popular time for couples to visit Lohrberg for a romantic stroll looking over the twinkling lights of Frankfurt.
