Miami celebrates all the main American festivals with as much verve as the rest of the country, and most important of all is Independence Day on July 4th, when there are as many fireworks as you can shake a stick at, as well as big barbeques and concerts on the beach.
New Year is celebrated with a lot of Panache around the city, and the large Hispanic population vigorously observes many Catholic feasts in little Havana.
