Most of the major festivals celebrated in Milan are linked to the Catholic Church, and perhaps the most important of these is Easter, when millions of people descend on the cathedral, La Duomo in order to attend the service. Christmas is of course also celebrated, with Santa paying a visit on December the 6th, and large masses at all of the churches take place on December 25th, and should you want to hear the Latin mass during a Christmas trip to Milan, you should attend early in order to get a seat.
