You can get into Hungary either by air into the International Airport in Budapest, from where it is a simple matter to get into the city centre, or along the railway that connects Vienna in Austria to the main cities in Hungary. If you want to make a tour of the country, then hiring a car is not a problem in the main cities, with most of the major agencies represented. The country has a good network of roads, and fuel is comparatively cheap.
