Tenerife Getting Around in Tenerife

From the airport, many packaged holidays to the Canary Islands will include a bus transfer to get you to your hotel or apartment, and once there, there are usually good bus and taxi services to get you around.

A good option is to hire a small car in order to explore the islands at your leisure, and this should ideally be done prior to travel.

Scooters are available in many places throughout the islands, although you should always wear a helmet and ensure that you are adequately insured.
