Four main cultures combine to make up the cuisine available to travellers visiting Canada, and these are British, French, American, and Chinese. The blend of influences, particularly in the restaurants in the larger cities mean that visitors to the country
have a number of options to choose from when it comes to eating out.
The Quebec region is the closest to French cuisine that you find in the country, and here, you find many of the finest restaurants in the whole country, serving a fusion of French and traditional North American dishes to customers, while over in the west of the country, in Vancouver, the influence of Asia is felt at its most strongest.Large cities such as Toronto offer pretty much every variety of food that you can imagine in the many restaurants, and food is fairly good value across the country, although not so cheap as in the USA.
