The Ring Strasse Galerien has a wider variety of shops, and is located close to the Staatoper, and is a good place to go to make savings. There are also many markets that operate throughout the year, and offer some real bargains, but for many people, the shopping highlight in Vienna is the Rathausplatz Christmas market.
