Sports fans are well served for watching and participating in sport in New Orleans, home to the NFL team the New Orleans Saints, and the New Orleans Zephyrs Baseball team. Games are played throughout the year, and you can book tickets within the city. Many fans turn up for the games early, and have tailgate parties from their car in the parking lot. There are more than 25 golf courses in the area surrounding the city centre, ranging in quality from quiet municipal courses such as Audubon Golf Club, which charges around $10 for a game through to the championship standard English Turn Country Club, host to the PGA Entergy Classic every April, and open for non members to play, provided that rounds are booked well in advance through a member for the princely sum of $150.
