In the centre of the city, Grant Park is the biggest open space in Atlanta, and is a great place to mooch about and chill out on a hot summer's day. Chief amongst the attractions in the park is the Atlanta Cyclorama, a big circular painting from the 1880s, which rotates around the audience and gives you a show about the civil war battle of Atlanta. The Cyclorama is the largest painting in the world, and was a popular form of entertainment for about 5 minutes in the 1890s before it was superseded by cinema. The steam train Texas is also housed in the same building, which is close to Atlanta Zoo.
