No visitor to Dallas with a shred of irony left in their soul should miss out on the chance to head out of town to the northern suburb of Plano, where they can see the Southfork Ranch that featured in the "Dallas" TV series for 13 years.
The Ranch is now a conference and exhibition centre where you can see various props from the show including the Lincoln Continental thad JR drove, several of his legendary ten-gallon hats, and of course the gun used to shoot him in the 1980 episode "End of the Road".
