No visitor to London should miss the chance to ride the British Airways London Eye, a gigantic Ferris wheel, which soars above the south bank of the River Thames close to the Palace of Westminster, and from the top of which you can enjoy spectacular views up to 40KM across the city on a clear day.
The observation wheel - the largest in the world is over 130m tall, and the 32 specially designed viewing capsules can carry a total of 15,000 people per day on the 30 minute trip, and although the capacity of the capsule is around 25, you can specifically book a private trip in a capsule of your own with champagne for a really romantic flight.
You need to book the trip in advance, and it costs around £11.50 for adults and half that for children.
