Menorca Things to do in Menorca

All over Menorca you can find prehistoric dolmen and standing stones, although of them all, the remains at Talah are the most impressive. Resembling Stonehenge in England, and dating from around 6000 years ago, the monument is an enigmatic signature from a civilisation long gone. Probably acting as a calendar of some sort, people who feel empathy towards long dead cultures travel to the stones in order to see the sun rise on the summer and winter solstice.
