Every visitor to Milan should visit the Santa Maria Della Grazie, where Leonardo da Vinci's fresco masterpiece The Last Supper is on display to the public. Viewing is by appointment only, but it is well worth arranging your day around the chance to see the painting in all its glory, and the three dimensional effect that the picture has when you stand around 20 feet from the wall is truly incredible.
