July and August are the best time to visit Belgium. National Day is 21st July, and is celebrated with parades and festivals. Following National day, there is the month long Brussels Fair. There are many other smaller local fairs and events throughout the year including a Jazz festival, and the Belgian Grand Prix, which subject to agreement over Tobacco advertising should take place in early summer.
