Durban Attractions in Durban

Durban has a reputation as a fun destination, and certainly there are many clubs and bars to explore, but there are also several excellent museums around the city, which specialise in everything from contemporary African Art through to natural and local history.

The Indian area of town, which lies to the west of the city centre boasts the excellent Victoria Street Market, and also the Juma mosque and the oldest Hindu temple in South Africa - The Alayam Temple, which is well worth visiting.
