Travellers to Sabah should all take the opportunity to visit Mount Kinabalu, a 4095m high peak that over looks the city, and offers spectacular views out over the jungle to the ocean and islands. Within the park that surrounds the mountain you can see plenty of animals in their natural habitat, such as monkeys and exotic birds. Other attractioins to see are the famous Poring Hot Springs, where you can see boiling hot sulphur rich water bubble to the surface. The park offers visitors to take a walk along suspended pathways through the jungle canopy, and then to take a relaxing dip in one of their mineral water baths.
