Many of the most important sights to see in the city of Philadelphia are in the Independence National Historic Park, where you can see the Pennsylvania State House (now Independence Hall) site of the signing of the Constitution, designing of the flag, and practically every important phase in the process of Independence. Congress Hall, which was used as seat of government from 1790 - 1800 when the city was the capital is nearby, and was where the Bill of Rights was agreed.
The top attraction in the city, and most photographed is the Liberty Bell Pavilion, where you can see the famous bell rung in 1776, and last rung in 1846 (it is cracked).
