The nightlife in Patong is lively, and has earned the resort town the soubriquet Mini-Pattaya. There are plenty of bars and clubs to dance the night away and these vary from small beach bars to enjoy a cocktail at sundown right through to large clubs with big name DJs during the main holiday seasons.
Patong at night is a safe place to play, although you should be aware that in some of the seedier bars there is a cover charge for talking to the girls, and some of those girls are not really girls at all!
