The biggest celebration of St Patrick's Day that you've ever seen takes place in South Boston on March 17th every year and includes a big parade, plenty of leprechauns, green beer, and Guinness. March 18th is usually a write off as people are too hung over to move.
The HarborFest takes place over the 4th July Independence Day weekend, and boasts fireworks parades, and a big free rock concert (Boston Pops) on the harbour front.
