Although Poland does not have a reputation for the best food in Europe, the truth is, that with all the investment and tourism that the city enjoys from across Europe these days, the standard that you can expect is about the same as anywhere else, and eating out in Poland is extremely good value, with meals in very good international restaurants costing little more than £15.
Poles tend to eat reasonably early in the evening, and reservations are not always necessary - except at fashionable restaurants at the weekend, and if required, hotel concierges will make them on request.
In restaurants and hotels tips are not included in the receipt. Add 10% on the top of the sum of the bill if the service is good.
