Bangkok is excellent for shopping, and in particular, Silom Road has an excellent choice of places to find the latest goods at bargain prices. Increasingly, there are more and more large malls springing up around the city, and the largest and best known is the River City Shopping Complex next to the Royal Orchid Sheraton hotel.
The Street markets are an excellent place to pick up a bargain or two, and the night market on Patpong Road is the best of them all, and attracts hundreds of bargain hunters every night.
