Although the island enjoys an excellent climate year round, with hot summers and warm winters, for most travellers to the island, the peak time to visit is from June until September, when the nightlife is at its best, and all the clubs are open. Hotels are predictably more expensive over the summer months, and demand is always high from clubbers and families alike, and it is essential to book your trip well in advance.
During the quieter winter season, room rates can be half as expensive, although there is less to do aside from relaxing.
