Amongst the many attractions in and around San Antonio, one of the most visited is the excellent Six Flags Fiesta Texas theme park, which has a huge selection of white knuckle rides to keep you thrilled, along with Sea World where you can see dolphins and killer whales performing.
The Fairmont hotel in the city was built in 1906 and has little to distinguish it as a building until you learn that in 1985, the whole building was lifted up and moved 3 blocks. A mammoth feat of engineering that ensured a place in the Guinness book of World Records.
