Of a higher standard, the 4* Rydges Hotel Auckland is a high tech modern hotel again in the waterfront area with great service, and a good fitness centre on site.
The 5* Hyatt Regency mixes good value with true luxury, and has a golf course nearby, but is overshadowed by the modern grandeur of the 5* Stamford Plaza Auckland hotel.
