As a major tourist centre for Americans, and Elvis fans from all over the world for many years, Memphis has developed a large number of high quality hotels, and conference facilities, and these are on the whole quite good value throughout the year.
A good choice for visitors to the city is the 3* Holiday Inn Memphis East, which is located just outside the city centre, and offers good facilities including a swimming pool as well as excellent rates year round. There are also many Elvis themed motels around the city, although these can rarely be booked in advance.
